John XXIII College, Perth
John XXIII College is a Roman Catholic co-educational secondary day school in located in Mount Claremont, a western suburb of Perth, Western Australia. The school provides education from kindergarten to Year 12 students and operates under the authority of the Catholic Archbishop of Perth. The college is the result of the merger in 1977 of the Jesuit Saint Louis boys school spread over different campuses (first opened in 1938) and Loreto Convent girls school (first opened in 1897). In 1986 the school was relocated to its present site in Mount Claremont. Swanbourne Hospital
Swanbourne Hospital is a heritage listed former mental hospital located in Mount Claremont, Western Australia. Built in 1904, it was the largest stand-alone psychiatric hospital in Western Australia for much of the twentieth century until its closure in September 1972. The hospital was originally known as Claremont Hospital for the Insane, Claremont Mental Hospital and Claremont Hospital. Following the closure of Claremont Hospital in 1972, the original 1904 section of the hospital functioned as the Swanbourne Hospital until 1985. The site was vacant from 1986, until renovated and reopened primarily as an aged care residence in 2018. The site contains buildings of significant heritage value, including Montgomery Hall, which used to be the second largest theatre venue in Perth. The house system is a traditional feature of schools in the United Kingdom. The practice has since spread to Commonwealth countries and the United States. Paul Medhurst
Paul Medhurst (born 11 December 1981) is a former professional Australian rules football player who played for the Collingwood Football Club and the Fremantle Football Club. In his 2008 season, he was selected in the All-Australian team and his other career highlights include leading the goalkicking at Fremantle in successive seasons and winning the Simpson Medal for best on ground in the 2012 WAFL Grand Final. Robert French
Robert Shenton French (born 19 March 1947) is an Australian lawyer and judge who served as the twelfth Chief Justice of Australia, in office from 2008 to 2017. He has been the chancellor of the University of Western Australia since 2017. French was born in Perth, Western Australia, and is a graduate of the University of Western Australia. He was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in 1972, and appointed to the Federal Court in 1986, serving as a justice on that court until his elevation to the High Court. Allan Fels
Allan Herbert Miller Fels (born 7 February 1942) is an Australian economist, lawyer and public servant. He was most widely known in his role as chairman of the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) from its inception in 1995 until 30 June 2003. Upon his retirement from the ACCC, he became foundation dean of the Australia and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG) until January 2013. Rory Garton-Smith, better known by his stage name Elk Road, is an Australian musician and record producer from Perth. He began remixing tracks from Carmada, Kaskade, Britney Spears and Charli XCX which were uploaded to his SoundCloud account. Matthew de Boer (born 10 March 1990) is an Australian rules footballer with the Greater Western Sydney Giants in the Australian Football League (AFL).
