John Wynne (1720 – January 1778) was an Irish politician. The Irish House of Commons was the lower house of the Parliament of Ireland that existed from 1297 until the end of 1800. The upper house was the Irish House of Lords, House of Lords. The membership of the House of Commons was directly elected, but on a highly restrictive franchise, similar to the unreformed House of Commons in contemporary Great Britain. Nathaniel Clements
Nathaniel Clements (1705 – May 1777) was an Ireland, Irish politician and financial figure, important in the political and financial administration of Ireland in the mid-18th century. Early history Clements was the fifth son of Robert Clements (1664–1722). He married Hannah Gore, daughter of William Gore, D.D., Dean of Down, on 31 January 1730. Career Clements became Member of Parliament (MP) for Duleek (Irish Parliament constituency), Duleek in 1727 under the patronage of Luke Gardiner, a powerful political and business figure in Dublin. He commenced as a junior at the Irish Treasury in 1720 and held extensive offices there. He became the main financial manager of the British and Irish Government in Ireland during the period, and was ''de facto'' Minister for Finance from 1740 to 1777. Richard Hely Hely-Hutchinson, 1st Earl of Donoughmore (29 January 1756 – 22 August 1825), styled The Honourable Richard Hely-Hutchinson from 1783 to 1788, was an Ireland, Irish peer and politician. Biography He was the son of Rt. Hon. John Hely-Hutchinson (statesman), John Hely-Hutchinson and Christiana Hely-Hutchinson, 1st Baroness Donoughmore. In 1776, he stood as Member of Parliament in the Irish House of Commons for two different constituencies. He sat for Dublin University (Parliament of Ireland constituency), Dublin University to 1778 and Sligo Borough (Parliament of Ireland constituency), Sligo Borough to 1783. Subsequently, he represented Taghmon (Parliament of Ireland constituency), Taghmon, County Wexford, from 1783 until 1788, when he succeeded to his mother's title. Owen Wynne (1723–1789)
Owen Wynne (1723 – 18 March 1789) was an Irish Member of Parliament. He sat in the House of Commons of Ireland from 1749 to 1789. He was an MP for County Sligo from 1749 to 1778, and for Sligo Borough from 1776 until 1789. Wynne was a prominent landowner in Co. Leitrim and Co. Sligo. His main residence was Hazelwood House, Co. Sligo. However, he spent a good deal of time in Dublin due to his parliamentary responsibilities and had a house at 3 Henrietta Street. His great uncle Owen Wynne (1665–1737) was a prominent soldier and politician and had purchased the estates in Co. Sligo to add to the family's existing estates in Co. Leitrim. He then built Hazelwood House. Wynne married Anne Maxwell, the sister of the first Earl of Farnham, on 13 December 1754. They had six sons and three daughters. Theophilus Jones (1729–1811)
Theophilus Jones (1729? – 8 December 1811) was an Irish MP and administrator. He was born the eldest son of Walter Jones of Headfort and Olivia, the daughter and coheiress of the Hon. Chidley Coote of Coote Hall, County Roscommon. He served three periods as MP for County Leitrim in the Parliament of Ireland, sitting from 1761 to 1768, 1776 to 1783 and 1790 to 1800. He also sat for Coleraine (1769 to 1776) and Monaghan Borough (1783 to 1790). He was appointed secretary to Augustus Hervey, 3rd Earl of Bristol when the latter was Chief Secretary of Ireland in 1766, holding the post until 1799. He was appointed a Privy Counsellor in 1767 and Collector of Excise at the Port of Dublin from 1767 to 1799.
