John Wylie (actor)
John Wylie Thomas (December 14, 1925 – May 11, 2004) was an American actor, who appeared in many live theater performances, television programs, and films. He was born in Peacock, Texas, and died of natural causes in New York City. Wylie debuted as an actor in 1954 at the Alley Theatre in Houston, while he was working as a research chemist. He acted with that theatre's company until 1985 and directed some of its productions. Wylie created the role of Col. Doctor Otternshlag in the original Broadway production of ''Grand Hotel'' under the direction of Tommy Tune. He also portrayed Senator Norval Hedges in ''Born Yesterday'' on Broadway in 1989. Wylie toured in a 1987-88 production of ''Man of La Mancha'' in the starring role of Don Miguel De Cervantes/Don Quitxote. In 1993, he played Ebeneezer Scrooge in a production of ''A Christmas Carol'' at the Victoria Theatre in Dayton, Ohio. John Malcolm Rodney Wylie (born 1961) is a leading Australian investment banker. He was previously managing director and Head of Corporate Advisory of Lazard, Chair of the Melbourne Cricket Ground Trust and Chair of the Australian Sports Commission. He is President of the State Library of Victoria Board. Personal Wylie was born in Brisbane, Queensland in 1961. His parents are Rodney and Nerida Wylie. He is married to Monaco born Myriam Boisbouvier and they have four sons. In 2011, his wife was appointed France's honorary consul in Victoria. He attended Brisbane Boys College. John Wylie (footballer, Born 1854)
John George Wylie (5 October 1854 – 30 July 1924) was an English amateur footballer who played as a forward. He won the FA Cup with Wanderers in 1878 and played once for England in 1878. He also took part as an athlete, winning the Pentathlon at the National Olympian Games in 1879. Career Wylie was born in Shrewsbury and was educated at Shrewsbury School between 1869 and 1872. After leaving school he moved to Sheffield where he trained as a solicitor. He qualified in 1878 after which he joined a practice in London. In 1881, he was living in Putney. He died, aged 69, in Wandsworth, London. Football career His early football was played with Shropshire Wanderers, before moving to Sheffield where he earned representative honours for the city of Sheffield. Morning Again is an American metalcore band from Florida. They were known for their metallic sound as well as for their straight edge, vegan, anti-religious and anti-government ideals. The band was a "sister band" to Culture, often switching members after one had left the other. Several members went on to play in other bands such as As Friends Rust and Dead Blue Sky. The band was originally from Cooper City, Florida, but moved to Coral Springs in 1998 before breaking up later that year. After playing several reunion shows over the years, the band released a new EP in 2018. History John Wylie who had left Culture earlier that year wanted a band with more intense and personal views. John William Shaw Wyllie, , (6 October 1835 – 15 March 1870) was a Great Britain, British Liberal Party (UK), Liberal Party politician and British Indian civil servant. Early life Wyllie was the son of British Army officer Sir William Wyllie (British Army officer), William Wyllie and Amelia (née Hutt), and was born while his father was on tour in Pune, Poona, under the Bombay presidency. He returned to Britain with his mother in 1841, and was then educated by a private tutor at Edinburgh Academy, and then, between 1849 and 1853, at Cheltenham College with his brother Frank. Surgeon General John Wylie Order of the Bath, CB FRSE Royal College of Surgeons, FRCS (1790–1852) was a 19th-century Scottish military surgeon. Life He was born in Glasgow on 20 May 1790 the son of George Wylie. He trained as a surgeon and in 1812 entered the Madras Army of the East India Company as an Assistant Surgeon. He saw active service during the Third Maratha War 1817/18 and was mentioned in dispatches for his actions at the Battle of Corygaum (January 1818). In 1825 he was promoted full Surgeon and gradually rose through the ranks to be firstly Inspector General of all Indian Hospitals in 1846 then Surgeon General of India in 1851. In 1844 he was one of 29 officers in the Indian Medical Service who was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.
