John White (actor)
John Michael White (born June 10, 1981) is a Canadian film, television and commercial actor. He is best known for his portrayal of Erik Stifler in '' American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile'' (2006) and its sequel '' American Pie Presents: Beta House'' (2007). Career He began acting during the mid-1990s, appearing on the television series ''Goosebumps'', in ''The Cuckoo Clock of Doom'' and ''The Haunted Mask II'' episodes, and on ''The Adventures of Shirley Holmes'', among others. John also began to appear in various TV movies and commercials during this time in his career, while still living in Toronto, Ontario. John White (Liberal MP)
John White (June 8, 1811 – May 3, 1897) was an Ontario lumber merchant and political figure. He represented Halton in the House of Commons of Canada as a Liberal member from 1867 to 1874. Biography Born in Omagh, County Tyrone, Ireland, in 1811, White came to Canada with his family in 1823, first settling in Etobicoke, and was educated in York, Upper Canada. He served on the council of Gore District for nine years, and then, after moving to Halton County, was subsequently elected to that council. White was elected to the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Canada for Halton in 1851, defeated in 1854, and returned once more in 1858, serving until Confederation. In 1867, he was elected as the first MP for Halton in the House of Commons of the new Parliament of Canada, where he served until his narrow defeat in the 1874 election. John White (Welsh Lawyer)
John White (1590 – 29 January 1645) was a Welsh lawyer and politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1640 to 1645. His work ''The first Century of Scandalous Malignant Priests'' (1643) earned him the nickname "Century White". Life White was from a family of merchants from Tenby, Pembrokeshire, Wales. He was the second son of Henry and Jane (née Fletcher) White. He matriculated (together with his elder brother Griffith) at Jesus College, Oxford in 1607. He entered the Middle Temple in 1610 and was called to the bar in 1626. He was High Sheriff of Pembrokeshire in 1626, like his father and grandfather before him. In 1632 White represented Sir Matthew Brend when a bill of complaint was filed in the Court of Requests on behalf of Cuthbert Burbage and the representatives of the other original lessees of the Globe Theatre, seeking an extension of their lease.. Clitheroe (UK Parliament Constituency)
Clitheroe was a parliamentary constituency in Lancashire. The town of Clitheroe was first enfranchised as a parliamentary borough in 1559, returning two Members of Parliament (MPs) to the House of Commons of England until 1707, then to the House of Commons of Great Britain until 1800, and finally to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom until 1832. The borough's representation was reduced to one MP by the Reform Act 1832. The parliamentary borough was abolished under the Redistribution of Seats Act 1885, and the name transferred to a new county division with effect from the 1885 general election. The county division returned one MP until it was abolished for the 1983 general election. It was then largely replaced by the new Ribble Valley constituency. Sir John White or Whyte (c. 1512 – 9 June 1573) of Aldershot and London was Lord Mayor of London 1563-64. He was knighted by Elizabeth I in 1564. He lived during the reigns of Henry VIII, Edward VI, Lady Jane Grey, Mary I, and Elizabeth I. Early life He was born in Farnham in Surrey in about 1512, the fifth of seven sons of Katherine ''née'' Wells and Robert White, one of several generations of merchants of Farnham. Reading was a parliamentary borough, and later a borough constituency, represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It comprised the town of Reading in the county of Berkshire. From 1295, as a parliamentary borough, Reading elected two members of parliament (MPs). Dartmouth, also sometimes called Clifton, Dartmouth and Hardness, was a parliamentary borough in Devon which elected two Members of Parliament (MPs) to the House of Commons in 1298 and to the Commons of England, Great Britain, and the United Kingdom from 1351 until 1832, and then one member from 1832 until 1868, when the borough was disfranchised.
