John David Swift (born 23 June 1995) is an English professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for EFL Championship club West Bromwich Albion. Early life John David Swift was born on 23 June 1995 in Portsmouth, Hampshire. Club career Early years A midfielder, Swift began his career at Soccer City in Fareham, before moving to Kickers in Eastleigh. He joined local Premier League club Portsmouth in 2005, but was released after just one season. He joined Chandler's Ford Tornadoes, before spending six months with Premier League club Chelsea as an U13. 2013–14 Professional U21 Development League
The 2013–14 Professional U21 Development League (League 1 referred to as the Barclays Under 21 Premier League for sponsorship reasons) was the second season of the Professional Development League system. There were 42 participating teams in the 2013–14 Professional U21 Development Leagues; 22 in League 1, and 20 in League 2. 2011–12 Premier Reserve League
The 2011–12 Premier Reserve League (officially known as the 2011–12 Barclays Premier Reserve League for sponsorship reasons) was the thirteenth season since the establishment of the Premier Reserve League. The events in the senior leagues during the 2010–11 season saw Blackpool and West Ham United relegated and replaced by the promoted sides Norwich City & Swansea City. While Birmingham City were relegated from the Premier League and Queens Park Rangers were promoted to the Premier League, neither side decided to participate in the reserve league. The geographical split of the 16 participating teams meant it was possible to drop the overcomplicated 2010–11 structure and revert to a simpler North & South structure. The FA Youth Cup 2011–12 was the 60th edition of the FA Youth Cup. The competition consisted of several rounds and was preceded by a qualifying competition, starting with the preliminary round which was followed by four qualifying rounds for non-League teams. Football League teams entered the draw thereafter, with League One and League Two teams entering at the first round, and Premier League and Championship teams entering in the third round. The 2010 Northern Ireland Youth Soccer Tournament was the 2010 edition of a prestigious youth association football tournament that has been running annually since 1983. Teams from around the world competed in a week-long tournament in the North Coast area of Northern Ireland. The teams were divided into three categories: Elite, Premier, and Junior for Under-19s, Under-17s and Under-15s respectively. The 2010 Milk Cup Tournament ran between the 26 and 30 July 2010, with Northern Ireland (Elite), Manchester United (Premier) and Everton (Junior) all returning to defend their 2009 titles.
