John S. Tveit
John S. Tveit (18 December 1931 – 6 September 2022) was a Norwegian politician for the Christian Democratic Party (Norway), Christian Democratic Party. Life and career John S. Tveit was born in Tysvær on 18 December 1931, as a son of carpenter and smallholding, smallholder Guttorm Oliver Tveit (1895–1977) and housewife Serine Thuestad (1908–2004). He took secondary education, and worked as an office clerk in the regional center, Haugesund, from 1949 to 1954. He then moved back to Tysvær, operating his own company ''Tysvær Handel'' from 1955 to 1973. From 1974 to 1979 he worked with administration and secretary tasks for the municipality. By that time he was involved in politics. He was a member of Tysvær municipal council (Norway), municipal council from 1959 to 1964, and then served as mayor from 1967 to 1971. The Christian Democratic Party ( nb, Kristelig Folkeparti, nn, Kristeleg Folkeparti, se, Risttalaš Álbmotbellodat, , KrF) is a Christian-democratic political party in Norway founded in 1933. The party is an observer member of the European People's Party (EPP). It currently holds three seats in the Parliament, having won 3.8% of the vote in the 2021 parliamentary election. The current leader of the party is Olaug Bollestad. The Christian Democrats' leader from 1983 to 1995, Kjell Magne Bondevik, was one of the most prominent political figures in modern Norway, serving as Prime Minister from 1997 to 2000 and 2001 to 2005. Tysvær or Tysværvåg is a village in Tysvær municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is located at the end of the small Tysværvågen bay, about off of the European route E39 highway. Magnus Stangeland
Magnus Stangeland (born 17 March 1941 in Austevoll) is a Norwegian politician for the Centre Party (Norway), Centre Party. He was elected to the Stortinget, Norwegian Parliament from Hordaland in 1985, and was re-elected on two occasions. He had previously served in the position of deputy representative during the term 1981–1985. Stangeland was a member of Austevoll municipal council (Norway), municipal council from 1971 to 1983, serving as List of mayors of Austevoll, mayor in the periods 1975–1979 and 1979–1981. Solveig Torsvik (born 30 December 1954 in Stange, Norway) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. Torsvik was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Akershus in 1993, but was not re-elected in 1997. She had previously served in the position of deputy representative during the term 1981–1985, 1985–1989 and 1989–1993. Lars Asbjørn Vaage (16 January 1928 – 6 January 2006) was a Norwegian physician and politician for the Conservative Party. He was born in Brunlanes, and graduated with the cand.med. degree in 1953. He worked at a hospital from 1953 to 1962, and became a specialist in radiology in 1963. From 1962 to his retirement in 1992 he worked as a physician in Stavanger. He was also the medical leader at the Royal Norwegian Navy Basic Training Establishment at Madla from 1959 to 1988.
