John Ryan (businessman)
John Ryan (born 1 May 1950) is an entrepreneur involved in the cosmetic surgery business in the United Kingdom and the former chairman of his hometown club Doncaster Rovers, which he has supported since being a boy. After expanding a cosmetic surgery company, which he sold in 2002, he created his own MYA (Make Yourself Amazing) line of surgical clinics in 2007. Ryan has written an autobiography, ''Dare To Dream'', which has been on sale since February 2010. John Ryan (Irish Politician)
John Joseph Ryan (17 June 1927 – 3 April 2014) was an Irish Labour Party politician from Nenagh, County Tipperary. He was an unsuccessful candidate at the 1969 general election, but was elected to Dáil Éireann at the 1973 general election as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Tipperary North constituency. He was re-elected at each subsequent general election until he lost his seat at the 1987 general election. He was elected to the Industrial and Commercial Panel of the 19th Seanad in 1989. At the 1992 general election he re-gained his Dáil seat in Tipperary North. He retired at the 1997 general election. John Ryan (born 20 January 2004) is an Irish professional footballer currently playing as a left-back for Reading. Club career Born in County Limerick, Ryan started his career with local side Aisling Annacotty before a move to St. Kevin's Boys in 2017. He would not stay for long, and after an approach by Shamrock Rovers, he joined the Tallaght-based side in 2018. As a child, he also played Gaelic football for teams in Ballybricken and Monaleen as well as for the Limerick primary schools Gaelic football team. John Ryan (born 27 February 1968 in Dublin) is an Irish football manager and former player. Playing career He made his League of Ireland debut for St Patrick's Athletic on 4 September 1988 but soon joined Bray Wanderers on loan. He played for Bray in two different spells 1988-1991 and 1998-2001 scoring 44 goals in 145 appearances. Ryan is probably best known for the hat-trick he scored while playing with Bray in the 1990 FAI Cup final. It was the first FAI Cup Final to be played at Lansdowne Road in 1990. That year a crowd of over 30,000 saw Bray Wanderers defeat non-league club, St Francis F.C., 3-0. John Ryan (born 20 July 1947) is an English former professional footballer who predominantly played as a full-back. Ryan had a professional career that lasted more than 20 years. He first joined Arsenal from non-league side Maidstone United in 1964, though he never played a first team game for Arsenal, instead playing in the reserves before being released in 1965. John Ryan (16 October 1930 – 12 August 2008) was a Scottish professional footballer who played 61 league games for Charlton Athletic, scoring 32 goals. He is most famous for scoring the winning goal in Charlton's 7–6 win over Huddersfield Town in the Second Division at The Valley, 21 December 1957, the only game in professional football in which a team has scored six times and still lost the game. What was even more remarkable about the game was that Charlton had 10 men for 73 minutes of the match and were 5–1 down with 27 minutes remaining.
