John T. Russell (September 22, 1931 – March 25, 2016) was an American politician who served as a Missouri state representative from 1962 until 1974 and a Missouri state senator from 1976 until 2000. The Missouri House of Representatives is the lower chamber of the Missouri General Assembly. It has 163 members, representing districts with an average size of 37,000 residents. House members are elected for two-year terms during general elections held in even-numbered years. Its members serve four-year terms, with half the seats being up for election every two years. Lebanon is a city in and the county seat of Laclede County in Missouri. The population was 14,474 at the time of the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Laclede County.
