John Reddaway
John Reddaway CMG, OBE (12 April 1916 – 25 June 1990) was a diplomat who served as Deputy Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), 1960–68. He was born in Ilford and educated at Ilford County High School and the University of Reading. The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire is a British order of chivalry, rewarding contributions to the arts and sciences, work with charitable and welfare organisations, and public service outside the civil service.
