John Penruddocke
John Hungerford Penruddocke (23 January 1770 – 25 December 1841) was a Tory politician in the United Kingdom. Family Penruddocke was the eldest son of Charles Penruddocke (died 1788) of Compton Chamberlayne, Wiltshire, and Anne Henrietta, daughter of Wadham Wyndham of Fyfield, also in Wiltshire. He was educated at Harrow School (from 1785) and New College, Oxford (from 1789). He married on 3 October 1789 Maria Anne, daughter of John Pearse of Chute Standen, Wiltshire. They had no children; she died on 5 April 1831. Joseph Planta GCH (2 July 1787 – 5 April 1847) was a British diplomat and politician of Romansh-Swiss descent. He was the member of parliament (MP) for Hastings, England. James Edward Harris, 2nd Earl of Malmesbury (19 August 1778 – 10 September 1841) was a British peer, styled Viscount FitzHarris from 1800 to 1820. Early life Though the son of a great British statesman, James Harris, 1st Earl of Malmesbury, and the former Harriet Maria Amyand (1761–1830). Among his siblings were the Rev. Hon. Thomas Alfred Harris, Rector of Hartley, Lady Catherine Harris (wife of Gen. Sir John Bell), and Lady Frances Harris (wife of Lt.-Gen. Hon. James Dawkins (MP, Died 1843)
James Dawkins, from 1835 James Colyear Dawkins (1760 – 13 March 1843) was a British plantation and slave owner, and Member of Parliament for Chippenham from 1784 to 1812. He was the eldest son of Henry Dawkins II, a wealthy owner of plantations in Jamaica, and his wife Lady Juliana Colyear, daughter of Charles Colyear, 2nd Earl of Portmore. He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford from where he matriculated on 4 May 1779, aged 18. Dawkins succeeded his father as Member for Chippenham. Following an election campaign in 1807–1808, which proved very expensive, Dawkins sold his property at Chippenham and was returned in 1812 for Hastings, retaining the seat until 1826.
