John Mason Parker (August 19, 1882 – 1960) was a farmer and political figure in Saskatchewan, Canada. He represented Touchwood (electoral district), Touchwood from 1917 to 1938 in the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan as a Saskatchewan Liberal Party, Liberal. Parker was Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, speaker for the Saskatchewan assembly from 1934 to 1938. He was the son of William Parker and Sarah Taylor and was educated in Watford, Ontario. In 1903, he married Mary Elizabeth Saunders. Parker served on the council for the rural municipality of Kellross No. 247, Saskatchewan, Kellross, also serving as reeve. Parker lived in Kelliher, Saskatchewan, Kelliher. John Parker (''fl''. 1655) was an English judge during the Interregnum. Biography Parker came from Weston Underwood, Buckinghamshire, and was admitted a student of Gray's Inn in 1611. He was called to the bar on 26 June 1617, and became successively an ancient of his inn in 1638, a bencher in 1640, and reader in 1642. On 20 March 1647 he was appointed a Welsh judge, and in the following year (12 May) received the commons' commission to try rioters in Wales. He seems to have found favour with Parliament, which made him a serjeant on 30 October 1648 and confirmed him in his Welsh judgeship on 5 March 1649. On 18 July of the same year he was granted a patent for a registrarship in the prerogative court. He was one of the assistant committee men in Northamptonshire. In 1649 he sat on the High Court of Justice that tried Lord Capel, Earl of Holland, Duke of Hamilton and found them guilty of treason for taking up arms against Parliament in the Second English Civil War. John Parker (c.1500–1564) was an English-born merchant, politician and judge in Tudor Ireland. He held the offices of Constable of Dublin Castle and Master of the Rolls in Ireland; to be appointed to the latter office was a notable achievement for a man who began his career as a cloth-maker and had no legal qualifications which would qualify him for judicial office. He also sat in the Irish House of Commons in the Parliament of 1560, and was a member of the Irish Privy Council. John Palmer Parker (29 November 1902 – 9 August 1984) was an English cricketer. Parker was a right-handed batsman. Parker made his first-class debut for Hampshire in the 1926 County Championship against Northamptonshire. Parker played 44 first-class matches for Hampshire between 1926 and 1933, with his final match for the county coming against Somerset. In his 44 matches for the county he scored 1,117 runs at a batting average of 17.45, with four half centuries and a single century score of 156 against Kent in 1926. With the ball Parker took 6 wickets at a bowling average of 43.00, with best figures of 2–14. In the field Parker took a total of 21 catches for the county.
