John Obuh
John Sam Obuh is a Nigerian football manager. He was most recently the coach of Akwa United F.C. He was in charge of Nigeria's under-17 national team during the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup after leaving Kwara United due to a payment dispute. On 20 July 2013 Obuh resigned as Manager of the Nigerian under-20 team. On 29 October 2013 Obuh became the Manager of Enugu Rangers. Obuh was sacked as manager of Enugu Rangers and was replaced by Kelechi Emeteole. Obuh was appointed manager of Kwara United on 16 January 2016. In August 2019, Obuh was appointed Technical adviser and head coach of Akwa United replacing Rafael Everton. Ohafia is an Igbo town in the Ohafia local government area (LGA) in Abia State, Nigeria. It is an Igbo speaking region. The ancestral capital of Ohafia town is the centrally located village of Elu. Rafael Everton Lira (born 27 January 1989 in Recife, Brazil) is a Brazilian professional football coach and manager. He was the former Head Coach of the Nigerian Professional Football League club Akwa United F.C. He was appointed coach of Akwa United F.C. on 5 November 2018. He has resigned from the Head Coach of Nigeria National League club, Vandrezzer FC. Early life and education Lira was born in Recife, Brazil in 1989. Kelechi Emeteole (1951 – 21 June 2017) was a Nigerian football player and coach. He was part of the Nigeria national team in the 1976 African Cup of Nations hosted at Ethiopia. Throughout his career, he had been coach of various teams like Heartland F.C., Enugu Rangers, El-Kanemi Warriors F.C. and the national beach soccer team. Playing career Emeteole played 17 matches for the Nigeria football team scoring four goals from 1975 to 1977. 2011 African Youth Championship
The 2011 African Youth Championship was a football tournament for the Under-20 level national teams in Africa. It was due to be held in Libya from 18 March to 1 April. Following political unrest in the region, CAF decided to postpone the tournament, before deciding that South Africa would be the new hosts, with games taking place between 17 April and 2 May. As the Championship also acted as a qualifier for the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup, the tournament would have to be played before the end of June 2011.
