John Nathans
Johnathan Garth Nathans (born June 10, 1979) is a retired professional baseball catcher and outfielder. He last played in 2007 in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball with the Bridgeport Bluefish. A native of Warwick, New York, Nathans attended Trinity-Pawling School and the University of Richmond. In 2000, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League. Catcher
Catcher is a Baseball positions, position in baseball and softball. When a Batter (baseball), batter takes their at bat, turn to hit, the catcher crouches behind home plate, in front of the (home plate, home) Umpire (baseball), umpire, and receives the ball from the pitcher.
