John Mitchell (Being Human)
John Mitchell is a fictional vampire in the comedy-drama TV series ''Being Human'', portrayed by Guy Flanagan in the "Pilot" and afterwards by Aidan Turner. The male lead for the duration of the show's first three series appeared in 23 episodes of the drama, as well as in three Being Human novels. Television series Background In the series narrative Mitchell is a soldier during the first world war when he meets the vampire Herrick. Herrick offered to spare the lives of Mitchell's platoon if Mitchell would allow him to turn him into a vampire. Mitchell agreed to this. ''Being Human'' is a British supernatural comedy-drama television series created and written by Toby Whithouse and broadcast on BBC Three. The show blends elements of flatshare comedy and horror drama.
