John Milne (footballer, Born 1911)
John Vance Milne (25 March 1911 – 29 August 1959) was a Scottish footballer, who played for Arsenal and Middlesbrough. Arsenal won the old First Division in 1937–38 and he made 16 league appearances, enough for a winners' medal. At the end of World War II, he accepted an invitation to play in Mexico, alongside Tom McKillop and Jimmy Hickie. Milne represented Scotland twice. Stirling
Stirling (; sco, Stirlin; gd, Sruighlea ) is a city in central Scotland, northeast of Glasgow and north-west of Edinburgh. The market town, surrounded by rich farmland, grew up connecting the royal citadel, the medieval old town with its merchants and tradesmen, the Old Bridge and the port. Located on the River Forth, Stirling is the administrative centre for the Stirling council area, and is traditionally the county town of Stirlingshire.
