John Mankiewicz
John Mankiewicz (born February 18, 1954) is an American television and film executive producer and screenwriter. He was co-executive producer for ''House of Cards'' and '' Bosch'', he co-created the television series ''The Street'' and has written and produced episodes for '' House M.D.'' and occasionally writes for ''The New Yorker.'' He was born in New York City the son of Ilene Thelma (Korsen) and screenwriter Don Mankiewicz, a member of the Mankiewicz family. Benjamin Frederick Mankiewicz (born March 25, 1967) is an American television personality, political commentator, and film critic. He is a host on Turner Classic Movies and has been a commentator on ''The Young Turks'' and ''What the Flick?!'' Early life Mankiewicz was born in Washington, D.C., to press secretary Frank Mankiewicz and Holly Mankiewicz (née Jolley) of German–Jewish descent. Nick Davis (born 1965) is a writer, director, and producer. He is the son of film director Peter Davis and the late Johanna Mankiewicz Davis. His paternal grandparents were the novelist and screenwriter Tess Slesinger and the screenwriter Frank Davis. His maternal grandfather was the screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz.
