John Lissauer
John Lissauer is an American composer, producer, and performer. At the age of 19, he arranged the first recordings of Al Jarreau. Lissauer went on to produce and arrange a pair of Leonard Cohen albums. Lissauer produced and arranged the first recording of "Hallelujah" which was featured in the film ''Watchmen'' and inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2019. He has been a composer or music producer for record albums, films, and radio and TV commercials. Lissauer received a Clio "Campaign of the Decade" award for his work for Polaroid. Early life and education Lissauer was raised in Hauppauge, New York. From age 11 until he graduated from Yale College, Lissauer studied with Joseph Allard at the Juilliard School. ''Love & Gravity'' is the third studio album released by American country music group Blackhawk. It features the singles "Hole in My Heart" and "Postmarked Birmingham", which peaked at #31 and #37, respectively, on the '' Billboard'' Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts in 1997. All of the songs center around the theme of loneliness and all but one track concern relationships. The first nine songs are written from a first person perspective, but the last two, including the track " Lonely Boy" a cover of the 1977 pop standard by Andrew Gold, are written from the third person perspective. Anjani Thomas (born July 10, 1959) is an American singer-songwriter and pianist, best known for her work with singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen, as well as Carl Anderson, Frank Gambale, and Stanley Clarke. She became a solo artist in 2000. Life Anjani was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, where she trained in guitar, piano and voice. ''Various Positions'' is the seventh studio album by Leonard Cohen, released in December 1984 (and February 1985). John Miller (musician)
John Miller (born 1945) is an American bassist and musical coordinator known for his work on Broadway. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Music degree in 1968. A professional bass player, he moved to New York City in the mid-1970s and was eventually hired as the musical director for the Broadway musical ''I Love My Wife''. He also had an acting role in the show for which he won a Drama Desk Award. In the mid-'70s he played bass and arranged for Leonard Cohen, arranging his single “Do I Have to Dance All Night”. Although Miller won an acting award, he has had very few acting roles since, instead choosing to work as a musical contractor and later musical coordinator on stage, and in films and television.
