John Kennard (co-driver)
John Kennard (born 11 February 1959) is a rally co-driver born in Christchurch, New Zealand. Rally career Kennard has been a co-driver to numerous drivers, the most notable being Hayden Paddon at Hyundai motorsport. They had their first win at Rally Argentina in . In March 2017 it was announced that Kennard would step down as Paddon's co-driver after Rally Finland and that a replacement for Kennard would be announced soon. The replacement was confirmed the day after to be Kevin Abbring's co-driver Sebastian Marshall. Kennard suffered a hip injury prior to the 2017 Rally de Portugal, which meant Marshall had to substitute for Kennard for the rally. On 30 May, Kennard retired as co-driver earlier than what was planned, because of the injury. Sebastian Marshall
Sebastian Marshall (born 29 May 1988) is a British rally co-driver. Rally career Sebastian Marshall began his rally career in 2005, co-driving for several drivers. In the 2008 Rallye Deutschland, he made his WRC debut, where he partnered Richard Moore in a Ford Fiesta ST. In January 2015, it was announced he would be co-driving for Kevin Abbring for Hyundai Motorsport in the World Rally Championship. While their main focus would be the development of the new Hyundai i20 WRC, Abbring and Marshall were also entered on selected WRC events later in the year. In the 2017 Rally de Portugal, he replaced Hayden Paddon's then veteran co-driver John Kennard, who was retired from professional career in the previous round. Marshall scored his first podium in Poland, and later in Australia, the crew achieved their second podium finish of the season. The is a subcompact car manufactured by Toyota from 1973 until 1999, replacing the Publica, but retaining the Publica's "P" code and generation numbering. 1985 World Rally Championship Season
The 1985 World Rally Championship was the 13th season of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) World Rally Championship (WRC). The season consisted of 12 rallies following the same schedule as the previous season. Peugeot Sport's Timo Salonen beat Audi Sport's Stig Blomqvist and Walter Röhrl to the drivers' title. Peugeot won their first manufacturers' title, ahead of Audi and Lancia. Hyundai I20 WRC
The Hyundai i20 WRC is a World Rally Car built by Hyundai for use from the 2014 World Rally Championship. It is based on the Hyundai i20 subcompact car, and was unveiled at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. The launch of the i20 marks Hyundai's return to the World Rally Championship after a ten-year absence. The car made its first competitive appearance at the 2014 Rallye Monte Carlo. The ''Marlborough Express'' is a newspaper serving the Marlborough area of New Zealand. Its headquarters are in Blenheim and has been published there since 1866. Ownership The ''Marlborough Express'' was set up by the printer, journalist and editor Samuel Johnson and his brother Thomas.
