John I. Leonard High School
John I. Leonard Community High School is a public high school located in Greenacres, Florida, United States. History The high school is named after John I. Leonard, who served as the first president of Palm Beach State College (then Palm Beach Junior College) and as Palm Beach County superintendent of public schools from 1936 to 1947. On August 7, 1964, Melvin J. Adolphson was named as the first principal of the new high school, which opened in 1965. In January 1994, the school was annexed into the city of Greenacres. Greenacres, Florida
Greenacres is a city in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. Situated in the east-central portion of the county, Greenacres is located northwest of Atlantis, east of Wellington, and borders Palm Springs to its east. As of the 2010 United States census, the city had a population of 37,573 people, up from 27,569 at the 2000 census. The Census Bureau estimated that 41,117 people reside in Greenacres as of 2019. It is a city within the Miami metropolitan area, which was home to an estimated 6,012,331 people as of 2015. Frederick E. Bryant, Harold J. Ryan Wade Hawblitzel (born April 30, 1971) is an American former professional baseball right-handed pitcher. Drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 2nd round of the 1990 Major League Baseball draft. Hawblitzel would make his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut with the Colorado Rockies on June 9, 1996, and appeared in his final game on August 5, 1996. High school career Hawblitzel attended John I. Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played.
