John Haran
John Haran (born 1976 is an Irish former Gaelic footballer who played for St Eunan's and the Donegal county team. He definitely has 8 Donegal Senior Football Championships (though the first one is a matter of some dispute). He also has a hat-trick of Donegal Senior, Senior "B" and Senior "C Championships, adding the C" in 2019. He became chairman of his club in late 2019, having served five years as vice-chairman. Early life The son of a Garda from County Sligo, Haran was born in and grew up in County Donegal. St Eunan's GAA
St Eunans GAA ( ; or ''Naomh Adhamhnáin'') is a dual club which plays hurling and Gaelic football. Their home ground is O'Donnell Park in Letterkenny. They field 35 teams, making them the biggest club in their county. One of the strongholds of Gaelic football in County Donegal, they have won the joint most Donegal Senior Football Championship along with Gaoth Dobhair who have also won 15. Declan Meehan (Gaelic Footballer)
Declan Meehan (born 16 January 1976) is an Irish Gaelic footballer from County Galway, Ireland. He plays his club football with Caltra and played inter-county football for the Galway team from 1996 to 2011. He was regarded as one of the most talented and skillful wing half-backs in the country. Playing career Club In 2004, Meehan was part of the Caltra team that had a memorable run to All-Ireland Club Championship glory. The Galway county football team ( ) represents Galway in men's Gaelic football and is governed by Galway GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. Brian McEniff
Brian McEniff (born 1 December 1942) is a former Gaelic football manager, administrator and player. McEniff played as a wing-back for the St Joseph's combination of clubs from Bundoran and Ballyshannon. He won seven Donegal Senior Football Championships with them, and another one with Réalt na Mara when St Joseph's divided. He won two Ulster Senior Football Championships with the Donegal county team as player-manager in 1972 and 1974, and was awarded an All Star after the first of these, before being ousted. He returned to manage the county to a third Ulster SFC in 1983, then left again. He returned once more in 1989, leading the county to its fourth and fifth Ulster SFCs in 1990 and 1992, as well as the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship in the last of these. Breffni Park, known for sponsorship reasons as Kingspan Breffni, is a GAA stadium in Cavan, Ireland. It is the home of Cavan GAA. The ground has an overall capacity of about 25,030 with a 5,030 seated capacity. Breffni is the historic name for area of Cavan/ Leitrim. Cavan is often referred to as the Breffni County. Declan Bonner
Declan Bonner (born 11 August 1965) is an Irish Gaelic footballer and manager. He played at senior level for the Donegal county team, winning an All-Ireland Senior Football Championship in 1992. He later managed the Donegal county team for two spells between 1997 and 2000 and 2017 and 2022, winning two Ulster Senior Football Championships during the latter, while playing as goalkeeper for Na Rossa. Bonner's first spell as manager of the county team, from 1997 until 2000, saw him denied an Ulster Senior Football Championship by a last-minute Joe Brolly goal in the 1998 final. 2014 Donegal Senior Football Championship
The 2014 Donegal Senior Football Championship was contested by senior Gaelic football clubs under the auspices of Donegal GAA. The defending champions were Glenswilly. They were dethroned in the 2014 final. Format It was announced in 2013 that the 2014 County Championship would begin as soon as the Donegal senior football team were eliminated from the Sam Maguire Cup, which, as it transpired, was in September after the 2014 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Final.
