John H. Morrow
John Howard Morrow Sr. (February 5, 1910 – January 11, 2000) was an American diplomat. In 1959, President Dwight Eisenhower appointed him the first ambassador to independent Guinea. He became the first representative of the United States in the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) during the administration of President John F. Kennedy. At the time, he was one of a small number of African American high-level diplomats. White House
The White House is the official residence and workplace of the president of the United States. It is located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, D.C., and has been the residence of every U.S. president since John Adams in 1800. The term "White House" is often used as a metonym for the president and his advisers. The residence was designed by Irish-born architect James Hoban in the neoclassical style. It was initially a literary and social studies club organized in the 1905–1906 school year at Cornell University but later evolved into a fraternity with a founding date of December 4, 1906.
