John Guandolo
John D. Guandolo (born ) is an American former FBI Special Agent and Criticism of Islam, anti-Islam counterterrorism activist who has provided training seminars for law enforcement and local elected officials across the United States, and who has been described as an anti-Muslim conspiracy theorist. Career and FBI resignation Guandolo graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1989, after which he served in the United States Marine Corps, Marine Corps and took part in Operation Desert Storm as a platoon commander in the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marines. He joined the FBI as a field officer in 1996. According to press reports, Guandolo was a counterterrorism expert in the FBI following the September 11 attacks, after having been part of the recovery and investigation of American Airlines Flight 77#Crash, the airliner crash into the Pentagon. The United States Naval Academy (US Naval Academy, USNA, or Navy) is a federal service academy in Annapolis, Maryland. It was established on 10 October 1845 during the tenure of George Bancroft as Secretary of the Navy. The Naval Academy is the second oldest of the five U.S. service academies and it educates midshipmen for service in the officer corps of the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps.
