John G. Schmitz
John George Schmitz (August 12, 1930 – January 10, 2001) was a Republican Party (United States), Republican member of the United States House of Representatives and California State Senate from Orange County, California, Orange County, California. He was also a member of the John Birch Society. In 1972 United States presidential election, 1972 he was the candidate for President of the United States of the American Independent Party, later known as the American Party. Schmitz was notable for his extreme right-wing sympathies. Frederick Gary Allen (August 2, 1936 – November 29, 1986) was an American conservative writer Allen was the father of four children, including Michael Allen, a political news journalist. Allen died as the result of a liver ailment in 1986 in Long Beach, California, at the age of 50. Writing In 1971, Allen co-wrote a book titled ''None Dare Call It Conspiracy'' with Larry Abraham. The 1972 United States presidential election was the 47th quadrennial presidential election. It was held on Tuesday, November 7, 1972. John Birch Society
The John Birch Society (JBS) is an American right-wing political advocacy group. Founded in 1958, it is anti-communist, supports social conservatism, and is associated with ultraconservative, radical right, far-right, or libertarian ideas. The society's founder, businessman Robert W. Welch Jr. (1899–1985), developed an organizational infrastructure of nationwide chapters in December 1958.
