John Edward Fuller (born January 29, 1950) is an American former Major League Baseball player. He played three games in one season with the Atlanta Braves from May 9 to May 12, 1974. Fuller made his Major League debut on May 9, 1974 against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. He popped out against Rick Reuschel in his only turn at bat, a pinch hit appearance in relief of pitcher Danny Frisella. Two days later, he appeared in the second of his three Major League games, a contest against the San Francisco Giants at Atlanta Stadium. He scored the only run of his career after pinch hitting for Tom House. Fuller was double switched into the ninth inning of his final game on May 12, replacing Rowland Office in center field. John Doc Fuller is a prison coach, motivational speaker, and author. Fuller was Martha Stewart's prison coach in 2004 when she was found guilty of conspiracy, obstruction of an agency proceeding, and making false statements to federal investigators. She was subsequently sentenced to a five-month term in a federal correctional facility. John Augustus Fuller
General John Augustus Fuller, CIE (18 July 1828 – 6 October 1902) was a British Army officer. Career Fuller was the eldest son of Rev. Robert Fitzherbert Fuller, rector of Chalvington, Sussex. He joined the Royal Engineers in 1846 and served in the Second Anglo-Sikh War (1848–1849), including at the siege and surrender of Multan, during which he was severely wounded by an explosion in the town. He served as political agent in Kolhapur State for some time, and was then attached to the Public Works Department in Bombay Presidency from 1850 to 1882. He was promoted to general on 1 June 1883, and retired on a pension later that year. John Fuller (20 April 1879 – 26 September 1959) was a New Zealand theatrical entrepreneur. Biography Fuller was born on 20 April 1879 in London. His father, John Fuller senior, was a singer and theatre operator and his sons assisted in performances and operations of his company. Fuller performed in his father's minstrel troupe in London before leaving for Australia, arriving in Melbourne on 31 July 1891. He attended school at Collingwood. In February 1892 he was engaged by J. C. Williamson for ''La Cigale'' and worked for almost three years in Williamson's Royal Comic Opera Company as call-boy. He frequently played juvenile parts as needed and deputized as stage-manager for Henry Bracy on occasion. His family moved again, shifting to New Zealand in 1894, settling in Auckland. The Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Writing is one of the fourteen American Pulitzer Prizes that are annually awarded for Journalism. It has been awarded since 1917 for distinguished editorial writing, the test of excellence being clearness of style, moral purpose, sound reasoning, and power to influence public opinion in what the writer conceives to be the right direction. Thus it is one of the original Pulitzers, for the program was inaugurated in 1917 with seven prizes, four of which were awarded that year. The program has also recognized opinion journalism with its Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning from 1922. Finalists have been announced from 1980, ordinarily two others beside the winner. Johnny Fuller (April 20, 1929 – May 20, 1985) was an American West Coast blues, West Coast and electric blues singer and guitarist. Fuller showed musical diversity, performing in several musical genres including rhythm and blues, gospel music, gospel and rock and roll. His distinctive singing and guitar playing appeared on a number of 1950s San Francisco Bay Area recordings, although he ceased performing regularly by the late 1970s. He worked as an auto mechanic from 1968 to 1983. His best known recording, "Haunted House", was later cover version, covered with some success by Jumpin' Gene Simmons. His other better known tracks were "Crying Won't Make Me Stay", "All Night Long", "You Got Me Whistling" and "Johnny Ace's Last Letter."
