John Foster (footballer)
John Colin Foster (born 19 September 1973) is an English football manager and former professional footballer who played as a defender. Career Foster began his career with Manchester City, playing several season in the Premier League. He later played in the Football League for Carlisle United and Bury before turning out at non-league level with Hyde United, Mossley, Trafford, Radcliffe Borough Radcliffe Football Club (formerly Radcliffe Borough) is an English football club based in Radcliffe, Greater Manchester where they play their games at Stainton Park. Blackley is a suburban area of Manchester, England. Historically in Lancashire, it is approximately north of Manchester city centre, on the River Irk. History The hamlet of Blackley was mentioned in the Domesday Book. The name derives from the Anglo-Saxon Blæclēah = "dark wood" or "dark clearing". In the 13th and 14th centuries Blackley was referred to as ''Blakeley'' or ''Blakelegh''. By the Middle Ages, Blackley had become a park belonging to the lords of Manchester.' The English Football League (EFL) is a league of professional football clubs from England and Wales. Founded in 1888 as the Football League, the league is the oldest such competition in the world.
