John Foster or Forester (by 1508 – between 1547 and 1551), of Wellington, Shropshire, was an English politician. Family Foster was the son of John Foster of Wellington and his wife, Anne née Banester, a daughter of Thomas Banester of Hadnall. Foster was married twice: first to Alice née Charlton, a daughter of Thomas Charlton of Apley Castle, with whom he had one daughter. His second wife was Isabel née Lister, a daughter of William Lister of Rowton, Shropshire, with whom he had two sons. Career He was a patten-maker or a mercer. John Bryn Williams (born 1977), known as John B, is an English disc jockey and electronic music producer. He is widely recognised for his eccentric clothing and wild hair and his production of several cutting edge drum and bass tracks. John Forester (7 October 1929 – 14 April 2020) was an English industrial engineer, specializing in bicycle transportation engineering. A cycling activist, he was known as "the father of vehicular cycling", for creating the Effective Cycling program of bicycle training along with its associated book of the same title, and for coining the phrase "the vehicular cycling principle" – "Cyclists fare best when they act and are treated as drivers of vehicles". His published works also included ''Bicycle Transportation: A Handbook for Cycling Transportation Engineers''. John Forrester (25 August 1949 – 24 November 2015) was a British historian and philosopher of science and medicine. His main interests were in the history of the human sciences, in particular psychoanalysis and psychiatry. Life Born and raised in London, Forrester attended Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School from 1960 to 1966 and read natural sciences at King's College, Cambridge (1967–70), graduating with a First in Part II History and Philosophy of Science. In Cambridge he was taught by Gerd Buchdahl, Mary Hesse and Robert M. Young. In 1970–72, as a graduate student in the History of Science Program at Princeton University, he took courses with Thomas Kuhn, Gerald Geison, Theodore M. Brown and Charles Coulston Gillispie. John McKay Forrester (December 1921 – 4 September 1978) was a Scottish trade union official, who served on the National Executive Committee of the Labour Party. Forrester was born in Clydebank and attended Clydebank High School, then undertook an engineering apprenticeship. Through the apprentices' movement, he became interested in socialism, and joined both the Labour Party, later serving as chair of Clydebank Constituency Labour Party. He also joined the Association of Engineering and Shipbuilding Draughtsmen (AESD), and aged only 24, he began working full-time for the union, its youngest ever official. He spent much of his career in Manchester, focusing on building up trade unionism among clerical workers in the engineering industry, while maintaining close links with manual workers. The Nebraska State League (NSL) was an American professional minor league baseball league with five incarnations between 1892 and 1959. The Nebraska State League formed five times: in 1892, from 1910 to 1915, from 1922 to 1923, from 1928 to 1938 and from 1956 to 1959. League teams were based in Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska and South Dakota. The 1892 league was a Class B level league, and the league was a Class D level league in all subsequent seasons.
