John Ewart
Jon Ewart (06th May 1996) is a British television and film actor. Ewart attended the prestigious National Youth Theatre, Identity School of Acting and has appeared in many successful Television shows. Biography Career Ewart, who was born in Melbourne, Victoria to Alfred Adam Ewart an insurance agent and his wife Jennie Grace Madge Lois (nee Macauley) began his acting career when he was cast at the age four in a radio production of ''Snow White''. At the age of 18, he made his film debut in the lead role of Mickey O'Riordan in Charles Chauvel's production of '' Sons of Matthew''. Ewart appeared in hundreds of Australian radio, theatre, film and television productions. To many thousands of Australians who grew up in the 1950s and '60s, he will be remembered as "Jimmy", the boyishly cheeky co-presenter of the ABC Radio '' Children's Session'', and in the title role of its long-running serial ''The Muddle-Headed Wombat''. Snow White
"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" is a 19th-century German fairy tale that is today known widely across the Western world. The Brothers Grimm published it in 1812 in the first edition of their collection ''Grimms' Fairy Tales'' and numbered as Tale 53. The original German title was ''Sneewittchen'', a Low German form, but the first version gave the High German translation ''Schneeweißchen'', and the tale has become known in German by the mixed form ''Schneewittchen''. The Grimms completed their final revision of the story in 1854, which can be found in the in 1957 version of ''Grimms' Fairy Tales''. The fairy tale features such elements as the magic mirror, the poisoned apple, the glass coffin, and the characters of the Evil Queen and the seven Dwarfs. ''Bellbird'' is an Australian soap opera serial set in a small fictional Victorian rural township of the show's title. The series was produced by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation at its Ripponlea TV studios in Elsternwick, Melbourne. The opening title sequence was filmed at Daylesford, Victoria. ''The Hungry Ones'' was an Australian television mini-series. It was a period drama about a pair of husband and wife convicts trying to go straight, consisting of 10 30-minute black-and-white episodes, which aired on ABC. ''Bodgie'' is an Australian television movie, or rather a live television play with filmed sequences, which aired on ABC during 1959. Originally broadcast on 12 August 1959 in Sydney on ABN-2, a kinescope recording was made of the program and shown in Melbourne on ABV-2 on 2 September 1959. At the time, most live plays broadcast on Australian television were simply performances of overseas plays. ''Bodgie'' was based on a British story written by an Australian, Rex Rientis, which was adapted to be relocated to Australia by another Australian writer, Alan Seymour.
