John Duffy (Gaelic Footballer)
John Duffy is an Irish former Gaelic footballer who played for Aodh Ruadh and the Donegal county team. His position was forward. He twice contested the final of the Ulster Senior Football Championship, in 1993 and 1998, but never won the competition as a player. He is a resident of Killygordon. Playing career Club P. J. Buggy and Josie Boyle mentored Duffy. ''The Irish Times'' later described him as "improviser-in-chief rom age 12on an Aodh Ruadh team that dominated at all grades through to senior." In Autumn 1994, Duffy scored five points as Aodh Ruadh defeated reigning Ulster club champions Errigal Ciaran, featuring Peter Canavan. Eventual All-Ireland finalists Bellaghy defeated them by a point in the following match. Duffy is also remembered for chipping goalkeeper Tony Blake with a penalty in the final of the 1999 Donegal Senior Football Championship. The Armagh County Board ( ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Coiste Chontae Ard Mhacha) or Armagh GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) in Ireland, and is responsible for the administration of Gaelic games in County Armagh, Northern Ireland. Futsal
Futsal is a football-based game played on a hardcourt, hard court smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It has similarities to five-a-side football and Indoor soccer, indoor football. Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper. Unlimited substitutions are permitted. Unlike some other forms of indoor soccer, it is played on a hard court surface marked by lines; walls or boards are not used. It is played with a smaller, harder, lower-bounce ball than football. The 2011 Irish general election took place on Friday 25 February to elect 166 Teachtaí Dála across 43 constituencies to Dáil Éireann, the lower house of Ireland's parliament, the Oireachtas. The Dáil was dissolved and the general election called by President Mary McAleese on 1 February, at the request of Taoiseach Brian Cowen. The Green Party ( ga, Comhaontas Glas, , Green Alliance) is a green political party that operates in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. As other like-minded Green parties, it has eco-socialist/green left and more moderate factions. It holds a pro-European stance. It was founded as the Ecology Party of Ireland in 1981 by Dublin teacher Christopher Fettes. The 2014 All-Ireland Football Final, the culmination of the 2014 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, was played at Croke Park in Dublin on 21 September 2014. Ulster champions Donegal, last champions in 2012 took on Munster champions Kerry, last champions in 2009. Jim McGuinness
Jim McGuinness (born 16 November 1972) is an association football coach and former Gaelic footballer, coach and Manager (Gaelic games), manager, who won the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship as both player and manager with the Donegal county football team, Donegal county team. Having guided Donegal to the final of the 2010 All-Ireland Under 21 Football Championship, McGuinness was appointed senior manager later that year.
