John Duffie
John Brown Duffie (October 4, 1945 – April 19, 2018) was a pitcher in Major League Baseball. He was the starting pitcher in two games for the Los Angeles Dodgers during the 1967 MLB season. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk.
