John Domenick
John Domenick is a Ohio Democratic Party, Democratic politician who formerly served in the Ohio House of Representatives. A wikt:weatherman, weatherman with the local CBS station, WTRF for over twenty five years, Domenick opted to seek the Democratic nomination for state representative in 2002 against incumbent Eileen Krupinski. With the help of high named recognition, Domenick won the election. He would ultimately win the general election also, and was sworn into office on January 3, 2003. Domenick easily won reelection in 2004 and 2006. In 2008, Domenick faced a challenge from former Representative Jerry W. Krupinski, but fended him off to win a final term in the legislature. Following Democrats' rise to the majority in 2009, Domenick was named chairman of the House Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee for the 128th Ohio General Assembly. Eileen Krupinski
K. Eileen Krupinski (née Bennett) is a Ohio Democratic Party, Democratic politician who formerly served in the Ohio House of Representatives. A native of Steubenville, Ohio, Krupinski's husband, Jerry W. Krupinski, served as a state representative for fourteen years, or seven terms. However, when term limits barred him from running again in 2000, Eileen entered the race to succeed him. She won, and was seated on January 3, 2001 in the seat formerly held by her husband. Up for reelection in 2002, Krupinski faced local weatherman John Domenick in a primary race for the Democratic nomination. Fairly popular, Domenick proved to be a strong contender, and ultimately defeated Krupinski to go on to the general election. Louis "Lou" Gentile (born July 28, 1979) is an American politician formerly serving as the senator for the 30th District of the Ohio Senate. He was also previously a member of the Ohio House of Representatives, serving briefly in 2011 prior to his appointment to the Senate.
