John Diva & the Rockets of Love is a German glam metal band founded in 2009. Sometimes abbreviated to JDATROL, the five-piece has made it its self-described mission to evoke "the halcyon days of Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Kiss, and Whitesnake, blessed with a smidge of Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe." Background According to the band's official biography, founding member and lead singer John Diva was brought up in San Diego, California by a single mother heavily involved in the city’s Rock scene. His father, a showband musician who toured the US casino circuit, was absent for most of his life. Through his mother, he first came in contact with music. Kissin' Dynamite is a German heavy metal band from Burladingen and Münsingen. History Kissin' Dynamite started as a school band. Since 2007, the band has worked with the Flensburg production team Elephant Music. At the end of 2007, they started sending demos to various music labels, leading to a record contract with Capitol Records / EMI in the same year. They released their debut album ''Steel of Swabia'' in 2008, and in that year also started appearing in music festivals, which included Bang Your Head. Steel Panther is an American comedic glam metal band from Los Angeles, California. They are known for their profane and humorous lyrics as well as their exaggerated onstage pastiche of the stereotypical glam metal lifestyle.
