John DeFilippo
John Eugene DeFilippo (born April 12, 1978) is an American football coach who is the head coach for the New Orleans Breakers (2022), New Orleans Breakers of the United States Football League (2022), United States Football League (USFL). He played college football as a quarterback at James Madison Dukes football, James Madison University, and has served as offensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns, Minnesota Vikings, and Jacksonville Jaguars. He won a Super Bowl LII, Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles, serving as the team's quarterbacks coach. Early life and college playing career DeFilippo was born in 1978 in Youngstown, Ohio. An offensive coordinator is a member of the coaching staff of an American football or Canadian football team who is in charge of the team's offense. Generally, along with the defensive coordinator and the special teams coordinator, this coach represents the second level of coaching structure after the head coach. Eugene Benard DeFilippo Jr. is an American sports executive and former college athletics administrator. He served as the athletic director at the University of South Carolina–Spartanburg—now known as the University of South Carolina Upstate—from 1984 to 1987, at Villanova University from 1993 to 1997, and at Boston College from 1997 to 2012.
