John D. C. Duncan Jr.
John D. C. Duncan Jr. (September 28, 1884 – August 13, 1958) was an American politician from Maryland. He served as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing Baltimore County in 1920. He served as a member of the Maryland Senate from 1935 to 1937. Early life John D. C. Duncan Jr. was born on September 28, 1884, in Baltimore County, Maryland, to Frank I. Duncan and his wife. His grandfather was John D. C. Duncan. Duncan studied at Baltimore City College, Dickinson College and the University of Maryland School of Law. The Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH) is the teaching hospital and biomedical research facility of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, located in Baltimore, Maryland, U.S. It was founded in 1889 using money from a bequest of over $7 million (1873 money, worth 163.9 million dollars in 2021) by city merchant, banker/financier, civic leader and philanthropist Johns Hopkins (1795–1873).
