John D'Agostino (poker Player)
John D'Agostino (born November 3, 1982) is an American professional poker player. D'Agostino plays online at Full Tilt Poker as one of their "Full Tilt Pros" As of 2010, his total live tournament winnings exceed $1,600,000. D'Agostino placed 5th in the second season World Poker Tour (WPT) PokerStars Caribbean Poker Adventure event, winning $99,450. At the 2004 United States Poker Championship, he had a huge chip lead heading into the final table. However, a bad beat against Hoyt Corkins (which prompted D'Agostino to angrily push his chip Corkins' way) led to D'Agostino's pocket 10s losing to quad 7s, leaving John with just one chip before he was eliminated in 6th place. He made a second WPT final table in the fourth season Borgata Poker Open event, where he finished in 4th place, earning $349,685. Michael Mizrachi
Michael David Mizrachi (born January 5, 1981) is an American professional poker player who won the 2010, 2012 and 2018 World Series of Poker $50,000 Players Championship. Mizrachi also has two World Poker Tour titles, and he finished 5th in the Main Event of the 2010 World Series of Poker. In January 2013, Mizrachi signed on as a team pro member with Lock Poker. Full Tilt Poker is an Irish online poker card room and online casino that opened in June 2004. Formerly privately owned by Tiltware, LLC and later by the Rational Entertainment Group, the site was acquired by The Stars Group (then known as Amaya Gaming Group) in a deal where Amaya acquired all of Rational's assets, including PokerStars. Bad Beat
In poker, bad beat is a subjective term for a hand in which a player with what appear to be strong cards nevertheless loses. It most often occurs where one player bets the clearly stronger hand and their opponent makes a mathematically poor call that wins with any subsequent dealing to complete the hand. In pure mathematical terms a one-outer can be considered a pure bad beat, however there is no consensus among poker players as to what else exactly constitutes a bad beat and often players will disagree about whether a particular hand was a bad beat.
