John Connor is the Chief Executive Officer of thCarbon Market Institute(CMI) the independent and non-partisan peak industry body for business and climate in Australia. Prior to joining CMI in May 2019, John Connor served for over two years as Executive Director of the Fijian Government'COP23 PresidencySecretariat. In that role he managed the Secretariat's strategic, policy and logistical support functions as Fiji presided over the UNFCCC, international climate, negotiations. The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) established an international environmental treaty to combat "dangerous human interference with the climate system", in part by stabilizing greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere. Peter Alexander Cameron Macdonald OAM (born. 29 May 1943) is an Australian medical practitioner and politician from Glasgow, Scotland. He was formerly the independent member for the Electoral district of Manly in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly and Mayor of Manly Council. The Australian Youth Climate Coalition (AYCC) is a youth organisation in Australia. When the organisation first began, the coalition consisted of 25 other youth organisations, which included the National Union of Students amongst many, however it is now an independent organisation.
