John Christian Langli
John Christian Langli (born 1961) is a Norwegian economist, and Professor at the BI Norwegian Business School.John Christian Langli
Employees at BI, 2013. Langli graduated from the BI Norwegian Business School with a siviløkonom degree in 1988, and took the dr.oecon. degree at the NHH, Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration in 1993. He was a research fellow at these respective institutions from 1988 to 1992 and 1992 to 1994. He was hired as associate professor at BI Norwegian Business School in 1994, and is now professor. He headed the ''Department of Accounting - Auditing and Law'' from 2000 to 2005. He has also been a visiting scholar at the University of Washington.

Siviløkonom
Siviløkonom (literally "civil economist") is an academic degree issued within the field of business administration. It consists of a 3 year bachelor's degree followed by a two years masters degree and is also a professional title in Norway (with corresponding titles in Denmark and Sweden, see below under "See also"), obtained after the total of 5 years of studies. The title is protected and can only be used by persons having met certain qualifications as directed by the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research. It is mainly offered by nine institutions after the completion of a Master of Science in Business Administration. Hope, Ole-Kristian
Ole-Kristian Hope (born ) is a Norwegian economist, and Professor of Accounting at the Rotman School of Management, particularly known for his work on accounting standards and disclosure practices. Biography Hope obtained his Siviløkonom degree in 1988 from the Norwegian School of Economics, his MBA with High Distinction in 1991 from the University of Michigan. In 2002 he received his PhD in Accounting Information and Management at the Kellogg School of Management with a thesis entitled "A Study of International Variations in the Financial Reporting Environment, Disclosure Practices and Analysts’ Forecasts."
