John Boucher (1777–1818)
John Boucher (1777–1818) was an English divine. Early life and education Boucher was born in 1777. He was entered at St. John's college, proceeded B.A. on 23 May 1799. He was elected fellow of Magdalen at the same time, and was admitted to holy orders in 1801, and proceeded M.A. on 29 April 1802. Boucher was married and had several children. Career At that time he became rector of Shaftesbury, and in 1804 vicar of Kirk Newton, near Wooler, Northumberland. He preached not only in his own parish, but in the neighboring district. One of his sermons was delivered at Berwick-on-Tweed in 1810, and another at Belford in 1816. Death Boucher died on 12 November 1818, at Kirk Newton. John George Boucher
John Georges "Buck" Boucher (August 19, 1895 – October 17, 1960) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played for the Ottawa Senators, Montreal Maroons, and Chicago Black Hawks in the National Hockey Association and National Hockey League between 1915 and 1932. Born in Ottawa, Ontario, Buck was one of six brothers. His brothers Frank, Bobby and Billy all played in the NHL. Their father Tom Boucher, played rugby football, winning the Canadian championship in 1894, 1896, 1897 and 1901. Boucher started his professional athletic career in football as halfback for the Ottawa Rough Riders of the Canadian Football League. After three years of football he switched to hockey. John Mycroft Boucher born (16 May 1870 – 7 May 1948) was an English tennis player. In 1898 he was a semi-finalist at Irish Championships and competed at Wimbledon Championships, then considered two of the most important major tennis events. He active from 1896 until 1923 and won 22 career singles titles. Career John played his first tournament in 1896 at the Bristol and Clifton Open Lawn Tennis Championships featuring the West of England Championships in Bristol where he reached the quarter finals, but was beaten by the three time U.S. National Championships finalist William Larned. He is widely recognised for his eccentric clothing and wild hair and his production of several cutting edge drum and bass tracks.
