Johanna Westerberg
Johanna Monica Elisabeth Westerberg Johansson (born 24 November 1977) is a Swedish professional golfer. Westerberg was born in Linköping, Sweden. She resides in Södertälje, Sweden. Westerberg turned professional in 2000 and has been a member of the Ladies European Tour since 2002. She played under her maiden name, Johanna Westerberg, until she got married in 2004. She competed as Johanna Waldh until her divorce in 2006. She is now married to tennis professional Joachim Johansson and they have one child. She won her first tournament, Ladies Open of Portugal, in 2009. Ladies European Tour
The Ladies European Tour is a professional golf tour for women which was founded in 1978. It is based at Buckinghamshire Golf Club near London in England. Like many UK-based sports organisations it is a company limited by guarantee, a legal structure which enables it to focus on maximising returns to its members through prize money, rather than on making profits for investors. The tour is run by a Board of Directors and a Players' Council. Most of the players on the tour are European, with members from more than 40 countries internationally. Joachim Johansson (born 1 July 1982) is a former professional male tennis player from Sweden. He reached the semifinals of the 2004 US Open, won 3 singles titles and achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 9 in February 2005. Background Johansson was born in Lund and currently lives in Södertälje, Sweden. His father, Leif Johansson, was also a tennis player and represented Sweden in the Davis Cup in the 1970s. The 2009 Ladies European Tour was a series of golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world which took place from January through December 2009. The tournaments were sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET). The tour featured 21 official money events, as well as the Solheim Cup and the European Ladies Golf Cup.
