Johanna Klum
Johanna Klum (born 12 July 1980 in Berlin) is a German television presenter. Career Klum was a member of the German girl band ''Samajona'' until 2002, after which she became the presenter of ''Total Request Live'' on MTV. In 2005, she started working for VIVA, where she presented the show ''17'', now presenting the follow-up VIVA Live!, with her colleagues Gülcan Kamps, Collien Fernandes, and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf. In 2007, she presented the show ''Popstars – Das Magazin'', which referred to the sixth season of Popstars under the title ''Popstars on Stage''. The show aired on both VIVA and Pro7, the original ''Popstars'' channel. ''Total Request Live'' (known commonly as ''TRL'') was an American television program broadcast on MTV that premiered on September 14, 1998. TRL featured popular music videos played during its countdown, and was also used as a promotion tool by musicians, actors, and other celebrity, celebrities to promote their newest works to the show's target Teen culture, teen demographics, demographic. Viva (TV Station)
VIVA (abbreviation for: translating to "Video Exploitation Facility") was a German free-to-air music television channel, first broadcast on 1 December 1993. The channel was intended to compete against MTV Europe and was the first German-language music TV channel, while MTV was only broadcast in English until the introduction of MTV Germany in 1997. It was also supposed to focus more on German music and pop culture while MTV only broadcast anglophone music by artists mostly from North America, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Australia. After years of competition for audience share, MTV Networks Europe eventually acquired VIVA on 14 January 2005 after it had outrun its own efforts for better ratings. Gülcan Kamps (née Karahancı, born 20 September 1982) is a German TV presenter and video jockey of Turkish descent. Career After finishing her Abitur (''A-level'') in Lübeck, she decided to embark on a career in management economics. During this time, she was chosen by VIVA from among a pool of 500 hopefuls in a VJ search. In 2004, teaming up with Mustafa Sandal she got onto the European top 10 music charts with Aya Benzer. In 2004, she placed 2nd in Maxim Magazine's women of the year in television. She also placed 60th in FHM Germany's 100 sexiest women and 71st for 2005. Collien Fernandes
Collien Ulmen-Fernandes (born 26 September 1981) is a German TV presenter, VJ, actress and model. Early life Fernandes was born in Hamburg, Germany to a father of Goan Indian origin and a German mother. She has one younger sister, Elaine. Aged 15, Fernandes moved out from home to begin her career as a model. Fernandes was interested in music and started singing with the band ''Yam Yam''. She went to dance schools in Hamburg and London. Career Fernandes featured in a number of music videos as background dancer for artists such as Enrique Iglesias and Dieter Bohlen's band Modern Talking. Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (born 22 September 1983 in Oldenburg) is a German television host, producer, actor and singer. He is best known as part of the duo Joko & Klaas, alongside Joko Winterscheidt. ''Got to Dance'', originally titled ''Just Dance'', is a British dance competition that was broadcast on Sky 1 in the United Kingdom from 20 December 2009 to 28 December 2014. Auditions for the show were held in specially built "Dance Domes" and are open to all dance acts of any age, style or size but must be of an amateur level. The show was hosted by Davina McCall, with Ashley Banjo and Kimberly Wyatt as judges. In series 1 to 3, Adam Garcia was a judge but was replaced by Aston Merrygold in series 4.
