Johanna Heldin
Johanna Maria Heldin (born 29 August 1994) is a Swedish curler. Career Juniors Heldin played for Sweden at the 2012 Youth Olympics, throwing lead rocks for the team, which was skipped by Rasmus Wranå. The team finished fourth. She was paired with New Zealand's Luke Steele in the mixed doubles event and were eliminated in the round of 16. Heldin played second for team Sweden at the 2015 World Junior Curling Championships, on a team skipped by Isabella Wranå. The team would end up finishing fourth. She was invited to be Sweden's fifth player at the 2016 World Junior Curling Championships on a team skipped by Therese Westman. Heldin played in eight games and team finished in sixth place. Mixed Heldin played for Sweden at two World Mixed Curling Championships, winning the silver medal at both the 2015 and 2016 World Mixed Curling Championship. Curling
Curling is a sport in which players slide stones on a sheet of ice toward a target area which is segmented into four concentric circles. It is related to bowls, boules, and shuffleboard. Two teams, each with four players, take turns sliding heavy, polished granite stones, also called ''rocks'', across the ice ''curling sheet'' toward the ''house'', a circular target marked on the ice. Each team has eight stones, with each player throwing two. The purpose is to accumulate the highest score for a ''game''; points are scored for the stones resting closest to the centre of the house at the conclusion of each ''end'', which is completed when both teams have thrown all of their stones once. The tilde () or , is a grapheme with several uses. The name of the character came into English from Spanish, which in turn came from the Latin '' titulus'', meaning "title" or "superscription". Its primary use is as a diacritic (accent) in combination with a base letter; but for historical reasons, it is also used in standalone form within a variety of contexts. Anette Norberg
Anette Norberg (born 12 November 1966) is a retired Swedish curler from Härnösand. She and her team were the Olympic women's curling champions in 2006 and 2010. After winning the 2006 Women's Curling tournament in Turin over Mirjam Ott's Swiss team, she led her team to victory for gold over Cheryl Bernard's Canadian team in the 2010 Women's Curling tournament in Vancouver; becoming the first skip in the history of curling to successfully defend an Olympic title. Her team that retired after the 2010 Olympics (although she herself continued until 2013) is regarded as one of the best women's curling teams in history, and she is often regarded as one of the best female skips in history, particularly after adding yet another world title in 2011 with a new younger team.
