Johann Friedrich Turley
Johann Friedrich Turley (23 June 1804 – 1855 "not far from Köthen") was a German organ builder, who worked in Brandenburg in the first half of the 19th century. Life Born in Treuenbrietzen, Turley learned organ building from his father Johann Tobias Turley and was his collaborator in the last years of his life. Several new organs were built by the two of them together. After his father's death, he took over the workshop and moved with the company to Brandenburg, where he worked together with his half-brother Albert Turley after 1844.orgellandschaftbrandenburg.de retrieved 21 February 2021. Wolf Bergelt (born 4 October 1951) is a German author, organist and organ scholar. Life Berglelt was born in Oederan, Erzgebirge. Bergelt received his first organ lessons from Horst Schröter at the Silbermann organ of the town church of Oederan until his church music studies in Dresden. He completed his compulsory military service as a singer in the Erich-Weinert-Ensemble Berlin. He then worked as a music editor while continuing his church music studies in Halle (Saale), where he dealt with music-historical, music-psychological and instrumental issues, among other things. From 1975 to 1980, he worked as a cantor and organist in Berlin and Prenzlau. It was during this time that he first became involved with the organ heritage of the Mark Brandenburg region, which had hardly been explored until then. Oschersleben () is a town in the Börde district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The population in 1905 was 13,271, in 2020 about 19,000. History On November 23, 994 Oschersleben was first mentioned in a document by the Emperor Otto III. In 1235 it was first referred to as a town. In the 17th century most parts of Oschersleben were destroyed by fires. In 1648 it came under Brandenburg's domination. Oschersleben became a district capital in 1816 and was connected to the railway system in 1843.
