Johan Stenström
Johan Gunnar Stenström (born 23 August 1951) is a Swedish literary scholar. He works at Lund University as docent (since 2002) and as professor (since 2009). Stenström grew up in Helsingborg. He studied at Malmö Academy of Music and later history of literature at Lund University. Literary criticism (or literary studies) is the study, evaluation, and interpretation of literature. Modern literary criticism is often influenced by literary theory, which is the philosophical discussion of literature's goals and methods. Though the two activities are closely related, literary critics are not always, and have not always been, theorists. Docent
The title of docent is conferred by some European universities to denote a specific academic appointment within a set structure of academic ranks at or below the full professor rank, similar to a British readership, a French " ''maître de conférences''" (MCF), and equal to or above the title of " associate professor". Docent is also used at some (mainly German) universities generically for a person who has the right to teach. The term is derived from the Latin word ''docēns'', which is the present active participle of ''docēre'' (to teach, to lecture). Helsingborg (, , , ) is a city and the seat of Helsingborg Municipality, Scania (Skåne), Sweden. Malmö Academy of Music (Swedish: Musikhögskolan i Malmö) is a Swedish public collage dedicated to education and research within the fields of music and music pedagogy. The school is located in Malmö in southern Sweden and belongs to the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts at Lund University. The school was founded in 1907 as a music conservatory. In 1971, it became public and changed its name to Malmö Academy of Music. Six years later, in 1977, the school became part of Lund University. Anders Palm (born 6 July 1942 in Malmö) is a Swedish literary scholar and linguist. He is professor of history of literature at Lund University. In 2011 he received an honorary degree of medicine. Palm is the principal architect of "Medical Humanities" which today is included in the Swedish physician education, and means that the body is seen from a humanities perspective as from a normal medical perspective.
