Johan Kristoffersson
Johan David Kristoffersson (born 6 December 1988) is a Swedish racecar driver. He is a five time World Champion having won the FIA World Rallycross Championship in 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021 and 2022. In 2018 he won a record breaking 11 out of 12 events in the championship. He is the son of former racing driver and Kristoffersson Motorsport (KMS) team owner Tommy Kristoffersson. He also won the Superstars Series championship in 2012, the same year in which he claimed the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship and Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia titles. Racing career Early career Kristoffersson competed for his father's team in Junior Touring Car Championship in 2008. He finished fourth in the championship, after winning two races during the season, in a Volkswagen. The Scandinavian Touring Car Championship (STCC) is a touring car racing series based in Scandinavia. The series took over from the Danish Touringcar Championship and Swedish Touring Car Championship, with its first season in 2011. The Scandinavian Touring Car Cup was awarded in 2010 to the driver with best results from selected races in the Danish and Swedish seasons. The 2012 Superstars Series season was the ninth year of the Superstars Series, an Italian-based touring car racing series, featuring the ninth edition of the Campionato Italiano Superstars (Italian Superstars Championship) and the sixth year of the International Superstars Series. 2018 TCR Scandinavia Touring Car Championship
The 2018 TCR Scandinavia Touring Car Championship was the eighth Scandinavian Touring Car Championship season. This season was the second season since the introduction of the TCR regulations and the last under the promotion of STCC AB, which declared bankruptcy in early February 2019. The season started at Ring Knutstorp on 4 May and ended at Mantorp Park on 22 September, after six rounds. Robert Dahlgren is the defending drivers' champion, while Volkswagen Dealer Team Sweden are the defending teams' champions. 2017 FIA World Rallycross Championship
The 2017 FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy was the fourth season of the FIA World Rallycross Championship. The season consists of twelve rounds, started on 1 April with the Spanish round at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and concluded on 12 November at the Killarney Motor Racing Complex in Cape Town, South Africa. The Superstars International Series was a production-based touring car racing championship held between 2004 and 2013. It was managed by the "Superstars World of Racing SpA", SWR, a company of FG GROUP with headquarters in Rome and sanctioned by the Automobile Club d'Italia (ACI) and the Commissione Sportiva Automobilistica Italiana (CSAI). FG GROUP, led by Maurizio Flammini, is famous for having promoted the FIM World Superbike Championship from its beginnings in 1988 until its sale to Infront Sports & Media in 2007. Extreme E is an FIA-sanctioned international off-road racing series that uses spec silhouette electric SUVs to race in remote parts of the world, such as the Saudi Arabian desert or the Arctic. All racing locations are chosen to raise awareness for some aspects of climate change and Extreme E maintains a "Legacy Programme" which intends to provide social and environmental support for those locations. The series also promotes gender equality in motorsport by mandating that all teams consist of a female and a male driver who share equal driving duties. 2010 Swedish Touring Car Championship Season
The 2010 Swedish Touring Car Championship season was the 15th and last Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC) season. Four of the race weekends were held together with the Danish Touring Car Championship and the results from these races also counted towards the Scandinavian Touring Car Cup. From 2011, the new Scandinavian Touring Car Championship replaced both the Swedish and the Danish Touring Car Championships. Teams and drivers The official entry list for the 2010 STCC season was released on March 20. All teams were Swedish-registered. 2009 Swedish Touring Car Championship Season
The 2009 Swedish Touring Car Championship season was the 14th Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC) season. It was decided over nine race weekends (comprising eighteen races) at six different circuits. Tommy Rustad won the drivers' championship for the second time. The ethanol powered Volvo C30 of Polestar Racing proved to be the fastest car over one lap, as evidenced by them setting all fastest qualifying times during the season (although grid penalties ruined the perfect score), but they were plagued by bad reliability. Instead, Thed Björk, driving for Flash Engineering, lead the championship most of the season, only to be overtaken in the last race. The team championship also went down to the wire, with Polestar Racing besting WestCoast Racing by one point in the last race.
