Jóhan Hansen
Jóhan á Plógv Hansen (born 1 May 1994) is a Faroese-born Danish handballer for SG Flensburg-Handewitt and the Danish national team. He has previously represented Faroe Islands national team, but due to the structure of the Danish Realm Greenlandic and Faeroese players can themselves decide which national team they wish to represent. As Hansen had already played for Faroe Islands national team, his wishes to representing the Danish national team resulted in a two-year suspension from international handball. Former Danish national coach Ulrik Wilbek expressed that he hoped and wished for Jóhan Hansen to change his nationality in order to be available for the Danish national team. Johan Hansen (1838–1913)
Johan Peter Christian Hansen (6 February 1838 - 28 February 1913) was a Danish businessman and art collector. Early life and education Hansen was born in Copenhagen, the son of merchant C. K. Hansen (1813–68) and Cathrine Marie Pöhls (1814–95). Career Just 19 years old Hansen was made an ''aqssocié'' in his father's company. When his father died in 1868, Hansen made their longterm employee Olof Hansen (1841–97) a partner in the company. The company grew under their management. In 1883 they founded the shipping company Dampskibsselskabet Dannebrog. It was followed by Dampskibsselskabet af 1896 (1896) and Dampskibsselskabet Neptun, (1901). Upon Oluf Hansen's death in 1897, Johan Hansen made his sons Johan Hansen (1861-1943) and Robert Hansen (1863-1912) partners. Art, music and philanthropy Johan Hansen was interested in art and music. Johan Kjær Hansen
Johan Kjær Hansen (7 April 1907 – 29 June 1944) was a member of the Danish resistance executed by the German occupying power. Biography Hansen was born in Hjørring on 7 April 1907 as son of deceased bicycle manufacturer Hans Christian Johan Andreas Hansen and 29-year-old widow Anna Elisabeth Nielsen née Kjær and baptized in Gassum on the second Sunday after Trinity. In addition to being a member of the Hvidsten group Hansen was also a mechanic. The group helped the British Special Operations Executive parachute weapons and supplies into Denmark for distribution to the resistance. In March 1944 the Gestapo made an "incredible number of arrests" including in the region of Randers where a number of members of the Hvidsten group were arrested. The following month De frie Danske reported that several arrestees from Hvidsten had been transferred from Randers to Vestre Fængsel. On 29 June 1944 Hansen and seven other members of the Hvidsten group were executed in Ryvangen. ...
