Johan Faye
Johan Mohr Faye (16 May 1889 – 16 September 1974) was a Norwegian architect and sailor who competed in the 1920 Summer Olympics. He was a crew member of the Norwegian boat ''Fornebo'', which won the silver medal in the 7 metre class. His uncle, Johan Faye, designed the ''Kristofer Lehmkuhls hus'' in 1881, which houses the ''Institutt for administrasjon og organisasjonsvitenskap'' (Department of Administration and Organization Theory) at the University of Bergen. The sport of sailing involves a variety of competitive sailing formats that are sanctioned through various sailing federations and yacht clubs. Racing disciplines include matches within a fleet of sailing craft, between a pair thereof or among teams. Additionally, there are specialized competitions that include setting speed records. Racing formats include both closed courses and point-to-point contests; they may be in sheltered waters, coast-wise or on the open ocean. Most competitions are held within defined classes or ratings that either entail one type of sailing craft to ensure a contest primarily of skill or rating the sailing craft to create classifications or handicaps. Egill Reimers
Egill Reimers (July 18, 1878 – November 11, 1946) was a Norwegian architect. He also competed in the 1920 Summer Olympics. Reimers was born in Bergen, Norway, to Bastiam Reimers (b. 1838) and Maren Johnsdatter (b. 1843). (Birth and marriage records spell his name Egil.) He married Signe de Lange on March 24, 1906 in Bergen. He graduated as an architect at Technische Hochschule at Munich in 1902. He started his own practice in Bergen during 1904. Reimers was one of the most active architects in the Bergen during the first half of the 20th century. He was awarded the Houen Foundation Award in 1924 for his design of the State Archives in Bergen (''Statsarkivet i Bergen''). The Bergen District Court (''Bergen Tinghuset'') was designed in the style of Neoclassical architecture during 1933 and is considered one of his main works.
