Johannes Cornelis Maria Veerman (born 19 November 1998) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven and the Netherlands national team. Club career Volendam Veerman made his professional debut in the Eerste Divisie for FC Volendam on 9 September 2016, in a game against VVV-Venlo. Heerenveen On 30 August 2019, Veerman signed for SC Heerenveen in the Eredivisie. He made his Eredivisie debut a day after signing, coming on as a second-half substitute for fellow midfielder Jordy Bruijn in a 1–1 draw with Fortuna Sittard. PSV On 4 January 2022, Veerman signed a 4.5-year contract with PSV Eindhoven. Veerman scored the match winner against Go Ahead Eagles in the semi-final of the KNVB Cup on 2 March. Sportclub Heerenveen (; West Frisian: Sportklub It Hearrenfean) is a Dutch football club from Heerenveen. They currently play in the Eredivisie, the top level of football in the Netherlands. History Sportclub Heerenveen was founded on 20 July 1920 in the town of Heerenveen, Friesland, as Athleta. It changed name twice, first to Spartaan and then to v.v. Heerenveen in 1922. While the Netherlands was occupied by Germany, Heerenveen won three successive North of the Netherlands championships, and following the end of World War II it went on to win the same title six times in a row; the club's dominance partly ascribed to the presence of Abe Lenstra. The 2021–22 KNVB Cup, for sponsoring reasons officially called the TOTO KNVB Beker, is the 104th season of the annual Dutch national football cup competition. It began in August with the first of two preliminary rounds, and will conclude April 17, 2022 with the final played at De Kuip in Rotterdam. Ajax are defending champions as they won the 2021 final. Mats Wieffer (born 16 November 1999) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Eredivisie side Feyenoord and the Netherlands national team. Club career Born in Borne, Wieffer played youth football for RKSV NEO aged 5 before joining FC Twente's academy at the age of 10. The 2023 UEFA Nations League Finals will be the final tournament of the 2022–23 edition of the UEFA Nations League, the third season of the international football competition involving the men's national teams of the 55 member associations of UEFA.
