Joey Pelupessy
Joey Mathijs Pelupessy (born 15 May 1993) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for club Groningen. Career Twente Pelupessy formerly played for FC Twente between 2004 and 2014, having progressed through to the club's senior team after playing in the club's U19 and U21 teams. In the 2013–14 season, Pelupessy was selected for three match squads for the senior team, but he didn't make an appearance for the club before the transferred to fellow Eredivisie side Heracles Almelo. Heracles Almelo Pelupessy joined Heracles Almelo in July 2014 on a free transfer, where he was assigned the number 14 shirt. He scored his first goal for his new club on 4 October 2014, which was also his team's fourth goal in their Eredivisie game against NAC Breda. The match ultimately ended 6–1. Nijverdal
Nijverdal () is a town of approximately 25,000 inhabitants in the Dutch province of Overijssel. It is the commercial centre of the municipality Hellendoorn. Nijverdal (which means ''Industrious Valley'') was founded in 1836 on the territory of the hamlet Noetsele. It was here that the industrial revolution in the Netherlands took root. Thomas Ainsworth (1795–1841) was one of its ''founding fathers''. Textile production was the focus of industrial activity in Nijverdal, as it was for the rest of the Twente region. Some of the traditional factory buildings in the Art Deco or Jugendstil style still remain. A river called the '' Regge'' runs through the town, and is the historical border between the two regions Twente and Salland, and the border of two Dutch dialects, which are Twents and Sallaands, respectively. The 2013–14 Eerste Divisie, known as Jupiler League for sponsorship reasons, was the fifty-eight season of Eerste Divisie since its establishment in 1955. It began on 2 August 2013 with the first matches of the season and ended on 26 May 2014 with the return of the finals of the promotion/relegation play-offs, also involving the 16th- and 17th-placed teams from the 2013–14 Eredivisie. The Süper Lig (, ''Super League''), officially known as Spor Toto Süper Lig for sponsorship reasons, is a Turkish professional league for association football clubs. It is the top-flight of the Turkish football league system and is run by the Turkish Football Federation. The 2016–17 Eredivisie season was the 61st season of the top-tier Dutch League Eredivisie since its establishment in 1956. The fixtures for this season were announced on 14 June 2016.
