Joey Lynch
Joey Lynch (born October 17, 1983) is an American football coach who is currently the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Vanderbilt University after previously holding the passing game coordinator role with the team. Prior to that, he was the offensive coordinator at Colorado State University. He played college football at Ball State University, where he was also a longtime assistant coach. Playing career Lynch played quarterback at Ball State from 2003 to 2006 after being recruited by his father Bill. He never played for his father in college however, as the elder Lynch was let go after the 2002 season and Brady Hoke was named the new football head coach for the 2003 season. He was named the starting quarterback his sophomore year and remained the starter until his playing career ended in 2006. Offensive Coordinator
An offensive coordinator is a member of the coaching staff of an American football or Canadian football team who is in charge of the team's offense. Generally, along with the defensive coordinator and the special teams coordinator, this coach represents the second level of coaching structure after the head coach. The offensive coordinator is in charge of the team's offensive game plan, and typically calls offensive plays during the game, although some offensive-minded head coaches also handle play-calling. Several position coaches work under the offensive coordinator (position groupings can include quarterbacks, wide receivers, offensive line, running backs, and tight ends). Unlike most position coaches in football, who are usually on the sidelines during games, offensive coordinators have the option of operating from the press box instead of being on the sideline. Elon Phoenix Football
The Elon Phoenix football program is the intercollegiate American football team for the Elon University located in the U.S. state of North Carolina. The school first fielded a football team in 1909 and currently competes in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). The Indiana Hoosiers football program represents Indiana University Bloomington in NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision college football and in the Big Ten Conference.
