Joey Kent
Joey Kent (born April 23, 1974 in Huntsville, Alabama) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League. He was drafted by the Tennessee Oilers in the second round of the 1997 NFL Draft. He played college football at Tennessee Volunteers football, Tennessee. In 1999, the Titans made it to Super Bowl XXXIV, in which Kent appeared as a substitute. However, they lost to the Kurt Warner-led St. Louis Rams. Kent also played for the Indianapolis Colts and Minnesota Vikings. 1997 NFL Draft
The 1997 NFL Draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held April 19–20, 1997, at the Paramount Theatre at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. No teams chose to claim any players in the supplemental draft this year. This draft was notable for its high-profile offensive linemen. Kurtis Eugene Warner (born June 22, 1971) is an American former football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 12 seasons, primarily with the St. Louis Rams and Arizona Cardinals.
