Joey DeAnn Cook (born March 30, 1991) is an American singer-songwriter from Woodbridge, Virginia who finished seventh place on the fourteenth season of ''American Idol.'' She toured with indie rock band Mammoth Indigo in 2013. Early life Joey Cook was born on March 30, 1991, and was raised in Woodbridge, Virginia. She began playing piano and singing at the age of five. In high school, she participated in choir and taught herself to play ukulele and guitar. Cook graduated from Woodbridge High School in 2009. Postmodern Jukebox, also widely known by the initialism PMJ, is a rotating musical collective founded by arranger and pianist Scott Bradlee in 2011. PMJ is known for reworking popular modern music into different vintage genres, especially early 20th century forms such as swing and jazz. Kristian Matsson (born 30 April 1983) is a Swedish singer-songwriter who performs under the stage name The Tallest Man on Earth. The Miracles (also known as Smokey Robinson and the Miracles from 1965 to 1972) were an American vocal group that was the first successful recording act for Berry Gordy's Motown Records, and one of the most important and most influential groups in pop, rock and roll, soul and R&B music history.
